What features are planned?

Which feature is missing? Just drop me a note.

Where can I find the transports to AIM, ICQ, etc.?

The transports can be found by searching "jabjab.de". New transport are only installed for jabjab.de, but are available from any domain. In your Jabber/XMPP client, you usually have an option like 'Service Discovery' to change the domain name.

Transport xy isn't working!

Right. First, have look at Status. The transport may have crashed. If its running, shit happens. There is a good chance, that the company behind that transport changed something in their protocol. It need to be fixed first. To speed up things, you might offer your help to the developers.

How to register with transport x?

If you want to use one or more of the transports of JabJab, please follow the following steps. There are two possibilities:

1. Via the website

Visit www.jabjab.de and click Login on the top right.

Sign in with your username (example@jabjab.de) and your password.

On the next page, click settings.

Now you see the transports you're already using and the ones you can still register with. Choose your transport and enter the username and the password for that service. Please note: Do not enter a password for telegram. You will be authorized by a code via sms or telegram app.

2. Directly in your Jabber/XMPP client

I will explain the steps within the gajim client. Other clients will work similar.

On the menu select actions and service discovery afterwards. Service discovery is what you want to look for in other clients as well.

On the new windows enter jabjab.de as address an click go.

Now, all available services will be listed.

Choose your service, click on register and enter your login details, when asked.
